Consulting on teaching methods and methodology
With experience gained from police training and collaboration with educational institutions and Chamber of Industry and Commerce examiners with decades of experience as lecturers, we develop didactic concepts that close knowledge gaps and strengthen practical skills – practical, applicable and sustainably effective.
Sense and purpose
Current findings from educational research show that a specifically designed learning experience significantly improves receptiveness, understanding and the long-term application of knowledge. Lecturers in adult education in particular benefit from planning learning processes as structured journeys tailored to the needs of learners.
A clear didactic thread, designed to mirror the customer journey, helps lecturers convey learning content in a comprehensible and motivating way. This not only promotes interaction, but also measurably increases learning success. In addition, such methodical planning contributes to the professionalisation of teaching and supports compliance with quality standards in education and training.
The common thread for teaching and methodology!
‘Tell me, and I will forget. Show me, and I may remember.
Let me do it, and I will be able to do it.’ – Confucius
Didactics does not end with the selection of suitable content – it begins there. A well-thought-out methodological structure is crucial not only for structuring learning processes, but also for making them tangible. The aim is to design teaching content in such a way that it promotes practical skills – in a clear, stimulating and sustainable manner. The common thread serves as a guide for teachers and learners alike: it connects theory with application, not only explaining but also allowing experience. Various factors flow into the design – such as the didactic reduction of complex content, the targeted selection of activating methods, or the linking with realistic application examples. As with the customer journey, lecturers design the learning process as a well-thought-out journey that actively involves learners and leads them step by step to success. The aim is to create a learning-friendly environment in which content is not only understood but can also be applied – in the sense of genuine educational experiences.
The shape of the slides
Our slides are clearly structured and didactically optimised. They combine overview graphics, step-by-step explanations and interactive elements such as diagrams and comprehension questions.
Thanks to their modular design, the slides can be flexibly expanded and adapted to suit new topics – in line with your training concept.
Exchange of experiences and practical exercises
How practical learning strengthens decision-making skills and creates confidence in everyday life
The aim is not for the lecturer to spend the whole day telling heroic stories, but rather to actively encourage the exchange of experiences – for example, through targeted plenary discussions and well-thought-out tasks. In this way, the knowledge of the group is utilised and supplemented, making the learning process lively and practical. The exchange of experiences plays a central role in closing knowledge gaps. When learners share their individual perspectives and challenges, a lively dialogue emerges that promotes new insights and helps them remain capable of acting in practice – even if, for example, not all the legal details are known, the successful experience of others can provide guidance. Especially in complex or rapidly changing situations, access to best practices provides security and room for manoeuvre.
Practical exercises ideally complement this process by combining theory with concrete action, thereby strengthening practical skills. Through practical application, participants can directly test, reflect on and consolidate what they have learned. This not only promotes confidence in dealing with new challenges, but also the ability to respond flexibly and creatively to unexpected situations.
This combination of sharing experiences and active participation creates a learning environment in which knowledge gaps are closed and skills are developed in a sustainable manner. This ensures that learners are optimally prepared for the demands of their practical work and gain the confidence to make decisions with certainty, even in uncertain situations.
